The Greener Good is your resource for a greener lifestyle. We do our best to provide a mix of products that meets all definitions of green. Most important to us, is the use of environmentally and socially responsible materials and practices. Fair trade and made locally are as important to us as the use of renewable, non-toxic, organic and recycled materials. We do our best to ensure that you, as our customer, can feel confident in the story behind our products. We do our research so you don't have to! TheGreenerGood.com puts a lot of work into bringing you the greenest possible products at great prices. We research each product to make sure the materials or ingredients meet our standards. We have enabled you to shop for products that fall into the area of green that most interests you. When you click on a category, you can then select an attribute that means the most to you. As the owner, and a passionate green advocate and mom, here are a few of my favorite things:

• GGO Clothing Company and Yala Designs bamboo apparel. It is amazingly soft and comfortable to wear. The bamboo leggings and float top are regulars in my daily wardrobe.
• Yala Designs bamboo sheets. You will NEVER want to get out of bed when you have these sheets on your bed. I have said that it is like sleeping on water, they are so silky soft and easy to care for!
• Jenny Krauss fair trade embroidered belts. These belts are colorful and go with anything! Plus they are made fair trade in Peru where the women artisans benefit from fair wages and opportunities for themselves and their families.
• Kitchen Compost Keeper and Spin Bin composter. It is much nicer to have the pretty kitchen compost keeper on my counter, rather than the plastic container that previously adorned my kitchen. With a charcoal filter and easily cleaned ceramic surface, this has made a huge difference in odor and flies. The Spin Bin has made composting a breeze and a fun family activity - my children love to give it a spin!
• Kids organic apparel from Kate Quinn Organics and Locally Grown. Whether you are in the mood for a fabulously soft, fair trade organic cotton playsuit, or a precious, made in the USA message tee, these companies have you covered. In sizes ranging from newborn to 12 years old, I am certain my kids will be well outfitted for a long time!
• Reusable Produce Bags. We all have gotten so good about taking our reusable shopping bags to the store, but what about the plastic produce bags we fill those wonderful reusable bags with? Now there is a great option for washable, reusable produce bags. They are amazing!
• The Perch Bunk Beds and Nook Twin Mattress. My kids are obsessed with their new Perch Bunk Beds from Oeuf NYC. This FSC Certified, solid wood furniture is responsibly harvested and manufactured in Latvia and is just the utmost in contemporary design. The Nook Pebble Mattress is organic eucalyptus and organic cotton and so comfortable to sleep on (I may have spent a nap time or two on the top bunk!) The pebbles increase airflow, which helps prolong the REM cycle and provides a better, more restful sleep.
